Tampa Bay Buccaneer Rookie Cook-off
Each year, after the NFL Draft is over, the Art Institute of Tampa invites the Tampa Bay Buccaneer rookies over to have a rookie cook-off. For a lot of the men, this will be their first time living alone and responsible for preparing their own meals and to give them the confidence to make their own gourmet, and healthy, meals, they spend the afternoon with the culinary instructors, making a full meal. Because of the competition between athletes on the field, it is also a competition in the kitchen as well. The rookie with the best dish and the team with the best overall meal gets a trophy. The students at AI, in photography and video programs are there to capture the action. This year, I was finally able to shoot it. These are some of the images I got from the day.
