CHAD & EMILY’S ENGAGEMENT PROPOSAL | TAMPA PHOTOGRAPHER | ST PETE BEACH

Emily had a feeling it was coming but didn’t know why quite when.  She definitely wasn’t expecting it tonight.  Chad had it all planned out and asked Emily’s friend to take her to St. Pete Beach for some drinks and after Chad was all set up, for her to bring Emily to the beach.  Emily said later that as they were making their way down to the beach, she saw the setup and thought that whoever was getting proposed to, was in for a surprise, with the romantic gesture.

It wasn’t until they were on the beach and Chad stepped out from behind the dunes, that she realized that she was the one in for the romantic surprise. Emily walked down the runway of tea lights and Chad got on one knee. Chad and I had planned the photography a few days earlier, so I was there and ready to capture the surprise engagement proposal photos on St Pete Beach for the couple.

Though it was a bit of breezy and Chad couldn’t use the rose petals for the runway, the proposal was perfect. With tears of joy, she said yes of course to Chad. With me off in the distance, I first moments of the surprise engagement proposal photos. After a short time, I gradually moved closer and when Emily finally started coming back to earth, she turned and saw me taking the pictures and she knew the night was complete!

Together with the lovely couple, we created a variety of shots to create a nice collection of surprise engagement proposal photos on Coronado Beach. First closer to the water, and then back at the sight of the proposal.  No proposal is complete without champagne and of course shotgunning a few beers.
